With a long tradition of thermal waters, Tunisia has embarked on the launch of fully renovated thermal spas that comply with international norms and the new requirements for health and wellbeing tourism.
A hammam with thermal spring water, a thermal swimming pool overlooking the mountain (at Hammam Bourguiba), facilities adapted for people with disabilities (at Djerba Thermalisme): the new thermal spa reports have plenty to offer. Hammam Bourguiba, nestled in the mountains in the northwest, has already become a major thermal spa resort with luxury accommodation. They treat ENT conditions and rheumatism here, as well as offering more short-term treatments where the focus is on relaxation and wellbeing, where thermal solutions are complemented by other types of treatments.
